Six matches now confirmed at County Ground with eight different nations all coming to Bristol with West Indies v Sri Lanka kicking off the action on Sunday 21 June.
The full schedule for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 has been confirmed following the conclusion of the Qualifier in Nepal last month – with the six matches at Bristol County Ground now confirmed. Eight different nations will travel to Bristol, including the current ICC Women’s T20 World Cup champions, New Zealand.
With the conclusion of qualifying last month, the 12-team team line-up for what promises to be a landmark summer of women’s cricket is confirmed. Joining tournament hosts England are Bangladesh, Ireland, the Netherlands and Scotland, who each secured their place after an intense qualification campaign that showcased the strength and depth of the women’s global game. It also marks a historic moment for the European nations as they account for a third of the competing teams in this year’s tournament.
The first match at Bristol County Ground will see West Indies take on Sri Lanka on Sunday 21 June and following that, current champions New Zealand come to town to take on Scotland on Tuesday 23 June as part of a double-header that also features Sri Lanka v Ireland later the same day.
South Africa will then face the Netherlands on 25 June before a final double dose of action on Saturday 27 June. The final fixtures of the group stage could prove pivotal and should provide plenty of drama and intrigue at the Bristol County Ground as Pakistan take on the Netherlands followed by West Indies v Ireland.
